ISSF Training Academy launch e-learning platform

The ISSF and the ISSF Training Academy is pleased to announce the launch of the Academy’s new e-Learning training platform. The new platform is hosted online at http://issf-academy.com and marks the latest in a series of educational initiatives from the Academy.

Following on from the success of the Academy’s “D”-course for regional coaches, the appetite for coach education has grown steadily amongst member federations. The e-Learning platform now represents an ideal vehicle to conduct distance learning for coaches while providing a platform to aid coaches in taking their ISSF Coaches licenses.

The Academy launches the e-Learning initiative with a new “Fundamentals” series of courses designed to provide a basic foundation in Rifle, Pistol and Clay Target shooting. The courses are provided free to view, with no registration required, in an effort to promote the basics of our sport to as wide a community as possible.

ISSF General Secretary, Franz Schreiber said “The e-Learning initiative is a great step forward in making coach education within our sport more accessible and shows the commitment of the ISSF and the ISSF Training Academy in delivering modern, professional training courses for the shooting sports.”
